Giving you time to recharge

Being a full-time carer is hugely satisfying and rewarding but it can also be physically tiring and emotionally draining. Recharging your batteries or taking time to manage other aspects of your life is important for your own wellbeing and we understand you don’t want to entrust a loved one’s care to just anyone.

Quite rightly, your expectations will be high that a care worker will provide the attentive, thoughtful and compassionate care that you would provide yourself.

We offer comprehensive respite care to give you the peace of mind that your loved one is safe and well cared for while you are away. Our respite care service gives the level and type of support your loved one needs including:

• getting up and ready for the day

• companionship and supervision

• preparing meals at your usual time

• help to use the toilet

• accompanied activities or outings

• medication prompting

• housekeeping such as cleaning, bed changing,
washing and ironing

To make sure that the care package we provide exactly matches your needs, we agree a care plan with you which covers all the little details that keep your loved one’s daily routine in place during your absence.

Respite care is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day for however long you need it. Some carers have regular daily or weekly help whilst others look for help less frequently but for longer periods to allow them a brief holiday.

Why not contact us to explore how our respite care could meet your needs? Alternatively, please complete our online enquiry form and we’ll call you back.
